These skylights are better known as Roof Windows or Sky Windows because, they are openable. These windows are specifically designed for sloping roofs (15° to 90 ° pitches). Wood:

Velux Roof windows are made from High Quality Nordic Pine of uniform species. Utmost care is taken while selecting the raw material and Velux does it with a huge 60 plus years of experience in the field.

Glass Panes:

All Sky windows come with Duel Glass Pane systems. The specially designed double glass panes have very high thermal and noise insulation qualities. They can reduce the noise levels by upto 46 decibles. The argon gas filling between the panes acts as a warm medium in order to avoid condensation on the glass surface. Various options are available in glass and the same can be discussed with our Sales advisors.

Flashings and Accessories:

The windows also come with optional accessories like remote or electrical operation, roll on blinds, safety rolling shutter, etc.

Aluminum flashing on the exterior protects the wood from any weather attacks plus it also takes care of proper leakage free water drainage.
